Hi everyone,
It's been a minute or two since we caught up, sometimes life gets in the way of life!
I hope you are all well and the world has been kind to you over the last few months.
We've been dusting off the cobwebs here at Misty Threads and getting back into the swing of our wonderful quilting world. Starting with a sale for you, we've gone all out with $5 per metre on selected fabrics!

Some grand older pieces that have been waiting far too long for their new home, these mature beauties deserve to be out there in your creations. These aren't the latest seasons but, like all good fabrics, they remain staunch friends, up for any spare space in your next quilt. Brilliant if you need some backing fabric!
A note for Jinny Beyer fans, we have a few cheeky metres of her Jinny Beyer Palette fabrics left!

You'll find the sale fabrics in our online store here under general fabrics, specials and/or remnants. Minimum cut is one metre and we have remaindered pieces where there was less than two metres on the bolt.
We do realise that sometimes you want a particular fabric, but you just need that little piece to finish off that project! If that is the case, please contact me directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we can see about arranging some half metre cuts for you.
We will be putting other fabrics on sale over the next few weeks. Don't worry, we'll put up a wee sneak peek and make an announcement across our socials. I'm thinking probably spots and stripes coming up next!
As much as we love our old dears, we will also want to share our new selections – some great new Australian Aboriginal fabric will be arriving soon! And they're stunning, such vibrant colours and designs.
While we eagerly wait for it to land in our store, please go back and check out the current range. These fabrics remain timeless and beautiful. A little protip for you all, they work particularly well in combination with batiks, which I know many of you love.
Take care everyone
Meg
